Event Report: T.T. Ng Chinese Language Research Centre |
The Fifth Forum on University Chinese
The University Chinese programme under the four-year university curriculum has beenimplemented for ten years since 2012, with each institution successfully implementing the new curriculum and accumulating rich experience. The “new normal” in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic and the rapid development of generative artificial intelligence are posing great challenges to the teaching of Chinese language courses in local universities. In light of this, the Chinese Language Teaching Development Centre of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at CUHK, in collaboration with the T.T. Ng Chinese Language Research Centre of the Institute of Chinese Studies, organised the Fifth Forum on University Chinese on 7 August 2023, with the theme of “Retrospect and Prospect”. |
