Sharing Session on "Improving Health in Developing Countries: A Service Learning Perspective"

……Arranged cataract surgeries for 50 elderly living in rural Cambodia.
……Carried out health screening for 260 households in a village in Nepal to promote wellness.
……Motivated the principal, teachers and students of a primary school in Cambodia to implement long-term health education.

Have you ever thought that the above impactful and professional achievements are done by CUHK students?  Funded by I·CARE Social Service Projects Scheme, three student volunteer teams had carried out sustainable services in Cambodia and Nepal, promoting public health and improving medical conditions.  The students-in-charge will share their experiences in the sharing session on "Improving Health in Developing Countries: A Service Learning Perspective" with details as follows:
