Dr. Rebecca K.Y. Lee, Lecturer of our School, was presented the "Exemplary Teaching Award in General Education 2015" by the Senate Committee on General Education (SCGE) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) at the award presentation ceremony held on 23 May 2016. This annual award aims at recognizing teachers who have made exemplary contributions to teaching and learning in General Education in the past two academic years, and is presented to a maximum of three awardees every year. Apart from the above, Dr. Lee has also been selected for the "Vice-Chancellor's Exemplary Teaching Award 2015", CUHK. The "Vice-Chancellor's Exemplary Teaching Award" is a prestigious award given annually to outstanding teachers of the University, one each from the eight Faculties and the General Education programme, whose achievements in teaching are considered by their peers and students to be of the highest order. The award will be presented to Dr. Lee and other awardees at the 81st Congregation scheduled for 17 November 2016. Dr. Lee's conscientious efforts and devotion to teaching all along are highly appreciated by us. Her unwavering commitment to education and pedagogical achievement will set an exemplary model for other teaching staff in the pursuit of teaching and learning excellence, hence materializing our goal of nurturing high-calibre students. |
