University-led Orientation Day 2021
The Orientation Day on 13 August 2021 was organised by the University for newly admitted students to learn more about the nine colleges of CUHK. The Orientation in 2021 conducted by the College was divided into three parts: College introductory talk, consultation session and virtual guided tours of the CWC campus.
During the College introductory talk conducted in the afternoon, Mr CHEUNG King Shun (Year 4, Nursing) acted as the MC and introduced key members of the College management team and shared about his fruitful College life. Prof Thomas AU, Chair of the Admissions, Scholarships and Financial Aid, then took the stage to introduce more about the College features, facilities and various learning opportunities. College student ambassadors and staff members also answered enquiries for new students at the consultation session and conducted virtual guided tours for them to explore more about the College.

The CUHK Virtual Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions 2021 The CUHK Virtual Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions was held on 16 October 2021, targeting pre-university students. Following the arrangement of the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid, the College set up a virtual booth where visitors could access various kinds of information about the College. Two online College Introduction Sessions were hosted by student ambassadors to share their College life with prospective students, and two online chat sessions were managed by College staff to answer visitors' enquiries. For details about College efforts in the online event, please refer to Page 77 of the Report of the Master 2021.CUHK Alumni Homecoming 2021 CUHK Alumni Homecoming is one of the University's most cherished traditions, with thousands of alumni returning to campus each year to reconnect and reminisce. Extending from the special arrangement of last year due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the 2021 CUHK Alumni Homecoming was held in hybrid mode on 27 November. This year, a new College video was released with the financial support of the Alumni Affairs Office, in which a CWC student Mr LEUNG Kwan Kit (Year 2, Psychology) served as a YouTuber to collect interesting questions from students of different cultural backgrounds, majors and years of study, and to invite the College Master, Dean of Students and Warden to answer the questions.
