The Wells: A New Place for Mental Resilience

Aiming at promoting personal growth and mental wellness, the College has set up a specialty room, The Wells, in Room 301 Chan Chun Ha Hall for students' mental health training and booking.

The room is nicely designed with various features: a coffee corner, a homey sofa area, a book corner, wishing-well drawers, a collective artwork table and an arts gallery corner.  Since January 2013, Career Development Workshop, Stress Management Group Therapy and Learn2Love Workshops have been held in this room.

Starting from 1 March, students can book this room at the Dean of Students' Office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, on a first-come-first-served basis, for wellness groups or individual use.  Students are most welcome to use the pre-arranged art materials to journal, to draw, to listen to music or practise winding down from emotional draining days.  Students can also leave their encouraging words on a teabag for sharing too.  It is the College's wish for students to be "well" in and from The Wells.
