New Asia College Mentorship Programme – Career Talks Day Debut

Mentors of the New Asia College Mentorship Programme are experts in their fields and students always gain a lot from their sharing. The College organized a Career Talks Day on 18 January 2014 for the first time. There were 12 career workshops and 2 keynote speeches, which provided information about different specialisms and most importantly the correct attitude in the workplace. There were over 100 participants, including non-mentee New Asia students.

The 12 career workshops cover a wide range of specialisms such as Information Technology, Civil Service, Public Relations, the Media, Professional Makeup, Master of Ceremonies, Pharmaceutical Industry, Wedding Planning, Trading and Logistics and the Financial Industry, followed by 2 keynote speeches: "The Formula of Job Seeking" and "Effective Team Building in the Workplace". The 2 speeches were conducted by CUHK alumni, The Director of Worldwide Consulting Group Co. Ltd., Mr. Armstrong Lee and New Asia alumnus the former Commissioner of Police, Mr. Lee Ming Kwai.

Without the support of the mentors who took the role of speakers of the career workshops, the event would not have been successful. The College would like to thank the following mentors (names listed in surname alphabetical order):
