CUHK Delegation headed by VC Visits Yunnan

Prof. Joseph Sung, Vice-Chancellor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) led a 10-member delegation to Kunming from 4 to 5 June 2012 with a view to bolstering academic collaboration with partner institutions in Yunnan. During the visit, collaboration agreements were concluded with Yunnan Provincial Science and Technology Department, Kunming Institute of Botany (KIB), The Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Kunming Institute of Zoology (KIZ), CAS.

Delegation from Sun Yat-sen University

A delegation of 34 administrators headed by Prof. Wai Minghai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU), visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 22 June 2012. The aim of the visit was to understand the administrative structure and management of the University.

2012 Attachment Programme for Executives from Mainland Universities

The third Attachment Programme for Executives from Mainland Universities was held from 1 June to 30 2012. Participants this year were thirty executives from Fudan University, Nanjing University, Nankai University, Peking University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Sun Yat-sen University, Xian Jiao Tong University and Zhejiang University.

Delegation led by Ministry of Education

Mr. Yang Huolin, Director of Supervision Department, Ministry of Education (MOE) led a 25-member delegation to visit the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 21 June 2012. The delegation comprised representatives from MOE, Education Department of Jilin and administrators from 20 higher education institutions in Mainland China.

Prof. Hao Fanghua, Vice-President of Beijing Normal University (BNU) paid a visit to the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 29 June 2012 to strengthen communication between the two universities and explore cooperation opportunities.
