| Mr. Yang Huolin, Director of Supervision Department, Ministry of Education (MOE) led a 25-member delegation to visit the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 21 June 2012. The delegation comprised representatives from MOE, Education Department of Jilin and administrators from 20 higher education institutions in Mainland China.
The delegation was warmly received by Prof. Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Ms. Wing Wong, Director of Academic Links (China). During the meeting, Prof. Cheng delivered a talk on the internationalization of higher education institutions in Hong Kong. The delegates actively participated in the discussions regarding the topic after the talk. They next toured around the beautiful campus of CUHK. The delegation was impressed by CUHK's recent developments and its efforts in internationalization. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and to build up links. |
