2012 Attachment Programme for Executives from Mainland Universities

The third Attachment Programme for Executives from Mainland Universities was held from 1 June to 30 2012. Participants this year were thirty executives from Fudan University, Nanjing University, Nankai University, Peking University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Sun Yat-sen University, Xian Jiao Tong University and Zhejiang University.

The programme consisted of a series of lectures and visits, through which participants came to have a better understanding of CUHK, as well as the development of higher education institutions in Hong Kong. CUHK representatives from United College, Graduate School, Personnel Office, Bursary, Registry, Offices of Student Affairs, Academic Links, Institutional Advancement, Knowledge Transfer, Research Administration, University General Education, Information Technology Services Centre, Security and Academic Links (China) gave lectures for the programme. Participants also had the chance to meet with representatives from the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in HKSAR and the Education Bureau, and paid visits to some government agencies and museums so as to acquire a broader picture of Hong Kong.

The programme not only provided the opportunity for the participants to learn more about the University and the education system and development of Hong Kong, but also enhanced communication among the universities and paved the way for future cooperation.
