2. Walk for a Green CUHK with Your CU Link!

Be a "Green Walker"! Join the Walk for Green Campaign Phase III and make CUHK a more environmentally-friendly campus!

New Walking Trials

The Walk for Green Campaign aims at nurturing a walking culture within CUHK. The campaign is a joint effort by Estates Management Office, Information Technology Services Centre and Physical Education Unit since 2013 and now moving into a new phase. In this phase, staff and students can try new walking trails which start from Yasumoto International Academic Park/Pommerenke Student Centre/Wong Foo Yuan Building and end at Mong Man Wai Building.

Become a Green Walker

Simply tap your CU Link on the card readers at both start and end points of the walking trails so that your walking journeys could be measured and shown at the Walk for Green portal and MyCUHK portal. One to two points will be awarded for each walking journey made in this phase. Participants who obtain 120 points between Sep 2014 and Jun 2015 will be awarded as "Green Walkers".

Over 150 participants have achieved 60 journeys or above and are awarded as "Green Walkers" since the campaign launched. Join us now and check the campaign website for more details!

Check your walking records at Walk for Green portal or MyCUHK portal
