Visit of Vice-President of Beijing Normal University

Prof. Hao Fanghua, Vice-President of Beijing Normal University (BNU) paid a visit to the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 29 June 2012 to strengthen communication between the two universities and explore cooperation opportunities.

Prof. Hao met with Prof. Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor to receive updates of CUHK and BNU from each other. Prof. Hao visited the Faculty of Education where she had meeting with Prof. Alvin Leung, Dean of Education to learn about the latest development of the Faculty and discussed with the representatives from the Faculty possible academic collaborations. Prof. Hao also met with Prof. Huang Bo, Associate Director of Institute of Space and Earth Information Science to understand the Institute's latest research projects.

The visit promoted mutual understanding and paved the way for expanding academic exchange between the two universities.
