2. Why Having CUHK OnePass System?

CUHK OnePass System has been in use for over a month. Maybe you are still adapting to this new system; questioning what to do with it. So, what does OnePass actually bring?

  1. Enhanced Protection
It protects your password from cracking by hackers because your account will be locked for 5 minutes for every wrong attempt after 10th failure password.

  2. Enhanced Security
After Fall 2015, departmental applications developed by third-parties could use CUHK OnePass as a centralized authentication system. You do not need to worry that the third party might capture your password.

  3. Self-service Password Reset
You could reset forgotten password yourself anytime through OnePass Personalized Security Questions you set before.

  4. Unified Login Information
More applications will be using the same University ID and password for authentication so that you do not need to hesitate which ID and password to be used.

Please visit http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/itsc/onepass for more details about OnePass System.

With OnePass implemented, you do not need to hesitate which ID and password to be used for different systems.
