The CUHK Student Webmail System and student 'alias@cuhk.edu.hk' e-mail address will be decommissioned on 1 Aug 2015. This checklist will help you to get ready for it. For Students - Register for the new Student E-mail service, @Link, under Office 365. Please log into MyCUHK and click "Register for CUHK Office 365 Account" at "My Page" to finish the registration.
- Get familiar with the new Student E-mail Service, @Link
- Back up all your files before CUHK Student Webmail system is decommissioned or your account is expired
- Inform your friends and subscribed mailing list(s) owners of the change of your e-mail address.
- Visit http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/itsc/o365/link_faq.html on how to back up your e-mails and learn how to migrate your e-mails from CUHK Student Webmail system to @Link.
For Departments/Staff - Update your contact lists with students' @Link e-mail addresses by 31 Jul 2015. ITSC will handle the change in University administrative application systems and assist departments who are using mailing list service to communicate with students.
