The International Conference on Global Health and Public Health Education was organized by the School of Public Health and Primary Care (SPHPC). Prof. Ke Yang delivered a lecture "Trend of Medical Education and Strategy of Health Science Center of Peking University" at the conference.

Prof. Ke grasped the opportunity to learn more about the development of the University during her visit. She met with representatives from Faculty of Medicine, including Prof. Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor; Prof. HK Ng, Associate Dean of Medicine, Prof. Sian Griffiths, Director of SPHPC and Prof. Tang Jinling and Prof. Samuel Wong, Associate Directors of SPHPC. In the meeting, CUHK representatives gave presentations on the development of the University, especially the latest development of Faculty of Medicine and SPHPC.  In return Prof. Ke briefed CUHK representatives the development of Peking University and the academic programmes offered by its Health Science Center.After the meeting, Prof. Ke toured the campus and was impressed by the University's green environment.

CUHK has developed links with Peking University since 1985 and Peking University has long been one of CUHK's strategic partners. This visit further strengthened the ties and fostered partnership in new collaboration.
