Prof. Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) led a 14-member delegation to visit Beijing University, Tsinghua University and Nankai University from 17 to 19 May 2011. The delegation composed of senior executives from various units of CUHK including Information Technology Services Centre, Personnel Office, Bursary, Communications and Public Relations Office, Office of Institutional Advancement, Alumni Affairs Office, Office of Admissions and Financial Aid, Office of Student Affairs, Registry, University Safety and Environment Office, and Office of Academic Links (China).
Introducing their respective areas of work, CUHK delegates exchanged views and experiences with their counterparts in Beijing University, Tsinghua University and Nankai University. The delegation trip helped build up strong links between the executives of the three universities and the delegates obtained valuable knowledge on the development of Beijing University, Tsinghua University and Nankai University, and also the higher education institutions in the mainland. CUHK has been arranging executive delegations to visit their key partner universities in the mainland since 2007. CUHK delegation has paid visits to Fudan University, Zhejiang University and Nanjing University in the past years. |
