| State Key Laboratory (SKL) in Oncology in South China Strategic Summit was held on 16 April 2011. Twenty key investigators from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and the Sun-Yat Sen University (SYSU) gathered in Shenzhen to exchange research ideas as well as identifying projects of collaboration from basic research to clinical trials in the coming years. The summit was an occasion to review the progress of the SKL and to do planning in strengthening its position among the existing SKLs. It also served as a platform for strategic planning in preparation for the evaluation to be conducted by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of China.
It has been decided in the meeting that the 2012 SKL retreat camp will be held in Guangzhou and the program will include plenary lectures and small group discussions. |
