CUHK Summer Cultural Interflow Programme for Mainland Students
With the aim to promote cultural exchange with Mainland China, Office of Academic Links (China) organized the Summer Cultural Interflow Programme for Mainland Students from 8 to 13 July. A total of 42 students from CUHK and 16 mainland universities took part in the programme.
The programme consisted of a series of lectures and visits, through which the participants had the opportunity to understand more about university life and social environment in Hong Kong, and to interact with CUHK students. Apart from campus tours, there were visits to public organizations, such as Hong Kong Legislative Council Complex and City Gallery to acquire a broad picture of Hong Kong.
The Programme provided a valuable chance for mainland and CUHK students to interact and understand the culture from each other. The University also strengthened partnership with its partner universities through the Programme.

Summer Visit Programme of Fudan University Students
The Summer Visit Programme for Fudan University Students, co-ogranized by Fudan University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) was held from 22 to 29 July 2013.Thirty students from Fudan and 7 CUHK students experienced university life in CUHK and culture of Hong Kong as well as explored the uniqueness of the city during the 8-day programme.
The programme included lectures, visits in CUHK and to museums, public organizations and tour to local attractions. Through the activities, Fudan students had a better understanding of the university life in Hong Kong and learned about the development of the city. Participants eliminated the regional boundaries and gained precious friendship.

CUHK Summer Student Interflow Activities
In July 2013, 30 CUHK students participated in 4 interflow programmes to Mainland China and Taiwan through the coordination of the Office of Academic Links (China). Below is a complete list of these tours:

The tours provided students with participation in academic seminars, talks, campus tour, visits of natural heritage and historical sites, as well as meetings and exchange to experience a different style of life, understanding the development of political and economic aspects, education, history and culture in the mainland. Links were built between students of CUHK and students from Mainland China during the activities, which serve as a valuable opportunity for academic and personal growth.
