Outgoing Visits

CUHK Delegation Visits Jinan University

A visit from Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) to Jinan University was organized on 12 July 2013 to strengthen the research collaboration between the two universities.

Members of delegation included Prof. Fok Tai-fai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Chan Wai-yee, Director of School Biomedical Sciences, and Prof. Wan Chao of Biomedical Sciences. The delegation met with Prof. Liu Jiesheng, Vice-President of Jinan University, and relevant professors in regenerative medicine and life science. Discussion was held at the meeting on the new development and mode of further collaboration regarding the Joint Key Laboratory for Regenerative Medicine.

 In 2007, the two universities collaborated in establishing the CUHK-Jinan University Ministry of Education Key Laboratory for Regenerative Medicine.  The visit further strengthened the linkage and consolidated collaborative plans.
