Traditional Medicine, Taiwan Culture and Art Summer Programme offered by Taiwan Yang Ming University
Please be informed that Traditional Medicine, Taiwan Culture and Art Summer Programme offered by Taiwan Yang-Ming University, is now open for application. Students who are interested in traditional medicine are encouraged to apply.
The programme will give introduction to students on traditional medicine together with knowledge of Taiwan culture and art. Courses will be taught in English comprising classes with field visits. The programme aims to provide students with
(a) basic knowledge of traditional medicine, especially acupuncture and Chinese herb therapy as well as the theory of ying-yang and five elements;
(b) clinical training as lectures are taught by professors with substantial clinical experience.
(c) opportunity to enhance understanding of Chinese culture and arts including pottery, literature and history.
(d) interaction with Taiwan students and international students.
Tuition Fee:
Waived for CUHK students
Other Expenses (air-ticket and accommodation etc.):
To be paid by students
