Professor Wang Jianfang of Department of Physics was awarded the Research Excellence Award 2017- 18 in recognition of his remarkable accomplishment in research in plasmonics, nanophotonics and nanomaterials. His research publications were published in high impact factor journals such as Chemical Society Reviews, Energy & Environmental Science, Advanced Materials, ACS Nano, Angewandte Chemie International Edition and JACS etc.
Professor Wu Yilin of Department of Physics was selected for the Young Researcher Award 2017 in recognition of his exemplary research achievements in bacterial motility, dynamics and interactions in multicellular systems and microbial evolution. His research findings were published in Nature, Physical Review Letters and Biophysical Journal etc.
