I·CARE Salon (13th Session) - The Rethink about the 1968 Student Revolt in France

I·CARE Salon, which is under the University Lecture on Civility, will continue in the new academic year to organise a series of seminars for participants to exchange insights on significant academic, cultural and social issues.  The forthcoming session of I·CARE Salon will be presided by Prof. Michel Bonnin* on The Rethink about the 1968 Student Revolt in France.  Other information is as follows:

*Speaker's Biography:

Prof. Michel Bonnin, Professor at the School of Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences, France and Visiting Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, joined the 1968 Student Revolt in France during his school days.  He then came to Hong Kong to engage in academic research on rustication of China's educated youth and on social and political issues of modern China.  Prof. Bonnin's publications include, inter alia, "The Lost Generation - The Rustication of China's Educated Youth (1968-1980)".
