Prof. Gordon Cheung, Associate-Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), led a 4-member delegation to Beijing from 12-14 June 2013 to strengthen academic linkage and promote further collaboration.

The delegation visited Peking University (PKU), China Agricultural University (CAU), and Remin University of China (RUC). Prof. Cheung met with Prof. Li Yansong, Vice President of Peking University; Mr. Ju Zhenyuan, Party Secretary of CAU; Prof. Wang Tao, Vice-President of CAU; and other representatives of PKU, CAU and RUC who are in charge of international affairs. Meetings were held to exchange ideas on international collaborations, student exchange, and summer programmes.

The visit further established stronger links between CUHK and its major partners in Beijing and helped expand to new level of collaboration.
