Delegation from Shanghai Jiao Tong University
A 6-membered delegation headed by Prof. Chen Guoqiang, Vice-President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 6 June 2013 to strengthen partnership between the two universities.
The delegates were warmly received by Prof. Joseph Sung, Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Fok Tai-fai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Joseph Lau, Master of Lee Woo Sing College; and Prof. Francis Chan, Dean of Medicine. The delegates visited the Prince of Wales Hospital, the teaching hospital of CUHK to learn about the latest research development of the Faculty of Medicine. They also visited Lee Woo Sing College to understand college system of CUHK.

Delegation from Beihang University Visits CUHK
A delegation from Beihang University headed by Prof. Xu Huibin, Executive Vice President visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 10 June 2013 to understand the management structure of the University.
Prof. Fok Tai-fai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor met with the delegation and gave an overview of the development of CUHK. Mr. Terence Chan, Bursar and Ms. Corinna Lee, Deputy Director of Personnel also met with the delegation and gave presentation on financial management and human resource structure of the University. The visit enhanced understanding and further bolstered the linkage between the two universities.

Other Important Visits
-Prof. Liu Minggui, Vice-President of Jiaying University visited CUHK on 5 June 2013. He met with Prof. Hau Kit-tai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor to understand teaching evaluation in CUHK.
-Prof. Tian Hongqi, Vice-President of Central South University led a 6-member delegation to CUHK on 10 June 2013. The delegation met with Prof. Hau Kit-tai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Prof. Wing Wong, Dean of Graduate School to understand postgraduate education of CUHK.
-Prof. Samuel K.C. Chang, President of Chung Yuan Christian University visited CUHK on 25 June 2013 and met with Prof. Fok Tai-fai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor. The delegation also visited United College and met with Prof. Kwan Hoi-shan, United College Dean of General Education to understand the college system of CUHK.
-Dr. You Jianpeng, Vice Director in General of the Guangxi Health Bureau visited CUHK on 25 June 2013 and met with Prof. Sian Griffiths, Senior Advisor- International Academic Development and Professor of the School of Public Health and Primary Care (SPH), Prof. Albert Leung, Director of School of Chinese Medicine, and Prof. Wei Xiaolin, Assistant Professor of SPH to discuss opportunities for collaboration.
