Prof. Poon Wai Yin Isabella, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and Prof. Henry Wong, Faculty Dean of Science visited Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) from 18 to 19 July 2016 to strengthen academic linkage and discuss collaborative initiatives.

During the visit, Prof. Poon and Prof. Wong had meetings with members of SJTU including Prof. Huang Zhen, Vice-President of SJTU, Prof. Wang Xiaofan, Deputy Dean of Zhiyuan College, Prof. Zhao Yu, Deputy Dean of School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Prof. Jiang Zhibin, Director of MOOCs Promotion Office, to exchange ideas on possible collaboration opportunities between the two universities.

CUHK has established partnership with SJTU since 1990.  This outgoing visit deepened mutual understanding between the two universities, which consolidated existing collaborative efforts and enhanced ties for future cooperation.
