Event: The Fifth Summer School on Chinese Translation History, Research Centre for Translation
 

The Fifth Summer School on Chinese Translation History (2017), co-organised with the School of Foreign Studies of Central China Normal University, was held on 19–24 June 2017 in Wuhan, Hubei.

The Summer School included five intensive lectures on key topics in the discipline of translation delivered by Professor Theodore Huters (University of California, Los Angeles), Professor Huang Ko-wu (Academia Sinica), Professor Shen Guowei (Kansai University), Professor Lawrence Wang-chi Wong (The Chinese University of Hong Kong), and Professor Zou Zhenhuan (Fudan University), followed by workshops and discussions among the participants.
