The Jane Goodall Institute was established in 1977 by the famous British primatologist Dr. Jane Goodall. It is a global non-profit organisation dedicated to wildlife research, education and conservation. Founded in 2002, the Jane Goodall Institute (Hong Kong) is a registered charity organisation in Hong Kong. It is committed to carrying Dr. Jane Goodall’s spirit in ecological conservation, environmental protection and humanistic care. It adheres to the philosophy of the institute and promotes the importance of environmental conservation to different stakeholders. It has also cultivated young people in Hong Kong to become important members of environmental conservation through various projects. |
Job Description
- To assist in marketing and communication management for multi-channel audience
- To plan and execute environmental education related activities
Eligibility
- Undergraduates of year-2 or above
- Have good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
- Be able to work independently
- Proficient in computer application (including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Editors)
- Have good knowledge of social media platform (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Familiarity with design software (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) is an advantage
Internship Period
- Mid-February - April 2021
- Not less than 8 hours per week (exact schedule to be drawn up by mutual agreement between the interns and the agency)
Working Mode
Work from home (supplemented with regular reporting, supervision meeting and final review, etc.)
Allowance
HK$72.5 / hour (17% by the attached organisation; 83% by this Centre)
