“Fitness x Mentorship” Scheme: Extended Activities

The “Fitness x Mentorship” Scheme for the second term of this academic year, which covered three sports items namely floor curling, orienteering and running, was drawn to an end in March.  In response to the enthusiastic feedback of the running buddies (i.e. residents of the Lee Yen & Lee Yuk Lun, BBS, JP, Father & Son Lohas Villa, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals), this Centre decided to offer three extended sessions to this item.

The first session was held on the 20th of last month in video conferencing format via Zoom.  The CUHK students and their buddies played sports-related games through which they strengthened mutual acquaintanceship and encouraged each other to do more exercises.  On the 22nd of this month, the second session took place in the University campus where both partners were engaged in friendly sports competitions and had great fun.  As for the last session, it has been scheduled for the 8th of next month at the University campus again.  CUHK students will design and lead their buddies to partake in team building and problem solving activities.

The “Fitness x Mentorship” Scheme not only encourages students to develop a regular exercise habit, but also enhances their understanding of various members of the community through the forming of friendship.  For enquiries, please contact Miss Wong of this Centre via 3943 9957 (Tel) or cathy@cuhk.edu.hk (Email).
