The festive season is just around the corner! To make your holiday go smooth, please take note of the following security suggestions:

1. Shut down your PCs not only for energy saving, but also for against hacking attacks.  Unattended PCs are sweet targets for hackers. Consider other methods to complete your task (Read our article, Evolve with Remote Study or Work Era). 
2. Ensure you have access to email to receive emergency messages from the University. Refer to our instructions for checking emails on a trusted computer/smartphone.

3. Set your email auto reply wisely! Outlook allows you to set different auto reply messages to internal colleagues and outsiders.  The former could receive detailed information while outsiders should get the bare minimum.

5. Secure your laptop and accessories from lost, such as a USB thumb drive, by locking them.
