Since there was rising tension on the Korean Peninsula in recent months, in this issue of “The Twenty-first Century Review”, we present the topic of “Security Structure in Northeast Asia: Retrospect and Reflections”, which features the relevant contents of the 5th “Chen Kewen Lecture on Modern Chinese History” held in March 2024. These articles provide insights into the future development of the situation through the profound thinking of historians.
