I·CARE Community Research Scheme 2017-18: Recruitment of Members

Aiming to deepen students' understanding of the deprived communities, and to guide them to explore ways of civic participation through in-depth studies, the I·CARE Community Research Scheme 2017-18 is now calling for participation in two small-scale research projects, namely, the Ma On Shan Community Development research, and the Elderly-friendly Housing research.

Under professional supervision, participants of the said projects will spend 8 months each to find out hidden assets within the community, and to take a close look at the challenge of "Aging in Place" respectively.

The scheme welcomes students from all disciplines to contribute subject knowledge.  However, to fit in the nature of the target under study, proficiency in spoken Cantonese is required.  Students participating in these projects will receive necessary research training.  Accomplishers will be awarded a $2,000 scholarship while the excellent team will win a $20,000 cash prize.
