In addition to the receipt of funding, training and individual guidance, participants of the I·CARE Social Service Projects Scheme are given chances to take part in the philanthropic work organised by this Centre from time to time. The latest one was to assist in distributing over 1,100 pieces of child surgical masks, which had been donated by Pro-Medics Group Limited, to two non-governmental organisations in last December for onward transmission to their service users to combat the pandemic. Beneficiaries included families living in sub-divided flats and asylum seekers.
