The 28 CUHK students selected for the I·CARE Hong Kong Cultural Tours Project of this academic year have been engaged in a series of professional training since last month. They were the following seminars held online:

The second phase of training will take place in January and February 2021. Participants will be guided by experienced instructors to take part in site visits and mock tours to get themselves prepared for serving as actual docents from March to May. Meanwhile, the participants are developing the tour routes and writing scripts in accordance with the themes below:
- Food Culture and History (Sham Shui Po)
- The Development of New Towns (Tuen Mun)
- The Rise and Fall of Local Mining (Cha Kwo Ling)
- Hong Kong’s Light Industries in the Post-war Era (Tsuen Wan)
