The Plaque-unveiling and MOU Signing Ceremony for The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) - Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) Centre for Historical Anthropology was held on 8 November. Centre for Historical Anthropology of SYSU is one of the Ministry of Education (MOE) Key Research Institutes of Humanities & Social Sciences. As an innovative platform for collaboration, this centre is the first national-level joint centre in the humanities and social sciences in CUHK and Hong Kong.

From 24 to 26 November, Prof. Wang Guangtao, Member of the Standing Committee and Chairman of the Environmental Protection and Resources Conservation Committee of the National People's Congress of PRC, and Former Minister of Construction, visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) for academic exchange with academics, especially from the Institute of Space and Earth Information Science and Center for Housing Innovations.

Prof. Huai Jinpeng, President of Beihang University, led a 7-member delegation to visit the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 9 November.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) organized the 3rd Interflow Programme for Mainland Academic Links Officers from 22 to 28 November. With the support from the Ministry of Education (MOE), 26 executives from various mainland universities participated in the programme this year.

With the aim to promoting cultural exchange with mainland students, Office of Academic Links (China) launched an interflow programme with students from Peking University from 8 to 12 November. A total of 30 students (22 from Peking University and 8 from CUHK) took part in the programme.

-          On 3 November, a 6-member delegation led by Prof. Zhu Min, Vice-President of South China University of Technology visited CUHK and met with Prof. Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of CUHK and representatives from Faculty of Engineering.
