1. Over 20,000 Sheets of Paper Saved Annually by Storing Tender Documents Electronically

Since the rollout of a repository to store and manage tender documents electronically on the Financial Information System in 2010, over 20,000 sheets of paper have been saved annually. It enables users of the Business Office to retrieve tender documents quickly without the hassle of searching through piles of physical folders.

November training workshops include:

    3. Mind your CWEM Password

    Your CWEM password has become more important than ever as it is used for authentication in lots of CUHK web services. It means that your CWEM password is not only needed for checking e-mails, but also for registering courses, checking examination results (for students), and etc. Staff members also employ the password to access self-service functionalities.

    4. Feature: Grand Opening of WMY Learning Commons

    The Learning Commons, located on the 6th floor of Wu Ho Man Yuen Building, cut the ribbon on 29 October, 2012. It is a learning area which is jointly managed by the Information Technology Services Centre (ITSC) and University Library System (ULS).

    The WMY Learning Commons creates a comfortable, flexible and collaborative environment. Open 24 hours daily, the Learning Commons provides you with a range of services for facilitating your individual studies and group works.
