Lanzhou University President visits CUHK

Prof. Zhou Xuhong, President of Lanzhou University led a 4-member delegation to the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on July 12 to strengthen ties and to explore collaboration opportunities.

The delegation met with Prof. Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor to understand the University's recent development. The delegates next visited Chung Chi College and held meeting with Prof. Leung Yuen-sang, College Head; Prof. Wong Kun-chun of Department of Cultural and Religious Studies; and Prof. Wong Kin-hong of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering to learn about the College system in CUHK. A guided campus tour was arranged after the meetings. 

 

CUHK has established partnership with Lanzhou University since 2008. In 2009, the two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding on summer interflow activity for students between Lanzhou University and Chung Chi College of CUHK. The visit further enhanced friendship and strengthened cooperation between the two universities.
