-       Prof. Jin Li, Vice President of Beijing Foreign Studies University led a 7-member delegation to CUHK on 2 April. They met with Prof. Dennis Ng, Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Prof. Isabella Poon, Director of the Centre for Learning Enhancement and Research.

-       A training class organized by The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce visited CUHK on 20 April. The class comprised of thirty-three leaders and administrators from Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council. They met with Prof. Michael Hui, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, and Ms. Wing Wong, Director of Academic Links (China) to obtain more information about the development of CUHK.

-       Prof. Jiang Jiandong, Director of Institute of Materia Medica (IMM), Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College, visited CUHK on 26 April. The delegation met with representatives from School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) including Director Prof. Chan Wai-yee. A MOU on collaboration between IMM and SBS was signed during the visit. The delegates also paid visit to the Institute of Chinese Medicine to explore collaboration opportunity.

-       Mr. Sam Myers, Counsellor (Science and Innovation) of British Embassy in Beijing and Mr Sam Mackey, Senior Economic Advisor, Political & Economic Section of British Consulate-General Hong Kong visited CUHK on 27 April and met with Prof Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Ms Wing Wong, Director of Academic Links (China) and Ms Heronie Mok, Director of Shenzhen Development Office to understand CUHK's Shenzhen initiatives.
