The delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof. Ching Pak-chung, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, and colleagues of Campus Development Office and representatives from the Estates Management Office. In the meeting, apart from a brief introduction of the recent development of CUHK, there were presentations given by CUHK representatives on environmental sustainability and campus development. Under the guidance of Mr. Chan Ping Tak, Environmental Sustainability Manager, the delegation next visited the energy-saving facilities on campus.

Zhejiang University has been one of CUHK's strategic partners. This visit enhanced communication and strengthened ties between the two universities.
