VC Meets Students from Zhejiang University

A delegation of 46 students from Zhejiang University (ZJU) visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) under the "Zhejiang University - Morningside Cultural China Scholar Scheme" on 6 February 2012. The students were warmly received by Prof. Joseph Sung, the Vice-Chancellor of CUHK.

During the meeting, Prof. Sung shared his insights with the delegates on life experience and whole-person development. The students enjoyed the time and asked questions enthusiastically. The students next visited Morningside College where they met with Prof. Sir James A. Mirrlees, Nobel Laureate and Master of Morningside College, and had lunch together. The delegation also toured the University campus.

 

The delegates were selected outstanding students from thousands of undergraduates in different disciplines in Zhejiang University. Upon joining the Scheme, they attended a series of lectures relating to international affairs and traditional Chinese culture. Apart from class training, students had the chance to pay visit to Hong Kong to learn about a mixture of cultures with new perspective.
