Organized by the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) Postgraduate Student Association (PSA), the Second SBS Photo Competition was successfully held from February to April 2016. The competition provided an opportunity for our staff and students not only to share with other School members their photographic skills and aesthetic sense, but also to encourage them to pursue a study-work-life balance. Among the 40 entries, the photograph entitled "A busy bee" taken by Dr. Lu Zengbing, Postdoctoral Fellow, was elected for the First Prize. Fourteen other photographs were selected for the Second Prizes, the Third Prizes and the Merit Prizes. The list of winning entries is as follows:
The prize presentation ceremony was held at the luncheon for the SBS Research Day 2016 at the C.W. Chu College on 3 June 2016, where Prof. Woody W. Y. Chan, Associate Director (Graduate Education) and Prof. Huang Yu, Associate Director (Research) of the School presented the prizes to the winners.
