The Inauguration Ceremony of the 5th Executive Committee of the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) Postgraduate Student Association (PSA) was held on 8 August 2016. The Ceremony was officiated by Prof. Chan Wai-yee, the School Director. In his opening remarks, Prof. Chan highly commended the PSA for their contributions made as a peer-support group for our students and expressed his earnest expectation on the future development of the Association. Mr. Lian Wei, President of the 4th Executive Committee of the SBS PSA, then gave a summary report on the activities organized in the past year, and extended the best wishes to the new Executive Committee in the coming year. In recognition of the outstanding contribution of the PSA to the School, Prof. Chan Wai-yee, together with Prof. Woody W.Y. Chan, Associate Director (Graduate Education), Prof. Fung Kwok-pui, Associate Director (Academic Administration) and Prof. Alfred S.L. Cheng, jointly presented the Certificates of Appreciation to the President and members of the 4th Executive Committee of the SBS PSA. The ceremony was concluded by Ms. Angel T.Y. Wan, President of the 5th SBS PSA Executive Committee, who briefly outlined the activity plan of the SBS PSA for the coming year. |
