- A delegation led by Mr. He Zhiming, Deputy Director of Taiwan Affairs, Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong S.A.R., paid visit to CUHK on 24 February 2012. The delegates met with Prof. Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of CUHK and Mr. Eric Ng, University Secretary and Registrar to understand the development of the University and its collaboration with Taiwan.

- On 10 February, a 32-member delegation led by Prof. Fang Chun-Hsiung, President of Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences visited CUHK and met with Ms. Wing Wong, Director of Academic Links (China) learn about the recent developments of the University.

- A 5-member delegation led by Prof. Zhao Jian, President of Zhengzhou Normal University, visited CUHK on 22 February. The delegation met with Prof. Hau Kit-tai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of CUHK to understand the management structure of the University.

- CUHK warmly received a delegation led by Prof. Cao Wenjun, Vice-President of Capital Medical University on 29 February. The delegates met with Prof. Hau Kit-tai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor; and Dr. Wong Chiu-wing, Deputy Librarian to learn about the development of the University and its library system.
