Mr. Liu Qian, Vice-Minister of Health, led a delegation to visit The Chinese University of Hong Kong on 29 November 2011. Apart from meeting with Prof. Jack C.Y. Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of CUHK, Mr. Liu and his delegation members also met with our School's representatives including Professors Chan Wai-Yee, C.H. Cho, Christopher H.K. Cheng, Kenneth K.H. Lee, Yung Wing-Ho and Lin Ge.
During the meeting, the delegates were briefed on the latest development of the School. Afterwards, they were arranged to visit the research facilities, including the core laboratories of our School. The delegation visit not only allowed both parties to establish scholarly links but also allowed our School members a better understanding of the needs and the future development of health care of China.
