| Prof. Lee Si-chen, President of Taiwan University led a delegation to visit the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 28 October to strengthen bilateral relationship and to further develop academic exchanges between the two universities. The delegation was warmly welcomed by CUHK.
President Lee met with Prof. Kenneth Young, Acting Vice-Chancellor, Mr. Kwok Tsun Kee, College Tutor of Shaw College, and Ms. Wing Wong, Director of Office of Academic Links (China). Both parties had a better understanding of each other's development and actively discussed the possibility for future collaboration. Taiwan University is one of the major comprehensive universities in Taiwan. It is one of the strategic partners of CUHK. CUHK and Taiwan University have academic linkage activities such as research collaboration, joint conference, students and staff exchanges. It is believed that the visit of President Lee will further strengthen mutual understand and foster friendly relationship and collaborations between the two universities. |
