The 11th Higher Education Management Training Programme in Tsinghua University

The 11th Higher Education Management Training Programme in Tsinghua University, jointly organized by Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Ministry of Education (MOE), and Education, Science and Technology Department, Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in HKSAR, was held on 9 - 16 October 2009.

This year, there were 34 participants, including professors and administrators from 9 higher education institutes in the programme. Among them, 7 were from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The programme included a series of seminars on higher education, political situation, judicial systems, social and economic developments in Mainland China. Participants also visited some historic sites in Beijing and met with MOE officials and representatives of Tsinghua University for exchange. The programme provided participants with a wealth of knowledge on the development of China in recent decades.
