I･CARE Centre for Whole-person Development E-newsletter

This Centre has been supporting the Sustainable Development Solutions Network Hong Kong, which is jointly hosted by CUHK and The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. Many activities and services of us have achieved the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations.

To encourage CUHK students and staff to actively respond to the SDGs, the Campus Planning and Sustainability Office has recently launched the Sustainable Development Goals Action Fund (SDG Fund) to subsidise creative projects in this respect. Details are as follows:

Eligibility

CUHK students, student groups and university units

Project Requirements

1. Must respond to one or more of the 17 SDGs
2. Must be self-initiated
3. Must be conducted in Hong Kong

2 2 May 2019 (Thursday) 15 July 2019 (Monday)
3 2 September 2019 (Monday) 15 November 2019 (Friday)

Application Procedures

1. Read here for the guidelines and regulations of the SDG Fund.
2. Complete the application form at here and email it to cpso@cuhk.edu.hk.
3. Interviews may be arranged for shortlisted applicants.
4. Results will be announced one month after the application deadline.
