Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Forum for Academic Exchange Heads 2015 was held in Hui Zhou of Guangdong Province on 29 May. Over 70 participants, including representatives from the Education Department and Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Guangdong Provincial Government, the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in HKSAR, 10 Hong Kong tertiary institutions and 34 mainland and Macau institutions attended the event. Ms. Wing Wong, Director of Academic Links (China) and Ms. Chen Tingting, CUHK Project Officer (Shenzhen) of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) participated in the Forum on behalf of the University.

The theme this year was "Internationalization of Higher Education and Advancement of Universities ". Participating representatives from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau exchanged ideas on the recent developments of internationalization in curriculum, cultural exchange and entrepreneurship in the universities. The meeting provided opportunities for the heads in academic exchange units from the 3 regions to share their experience in higher education sector. Participants not only obtained valuable knowledge, but also established stronger links with each other through this event. Ms. Wing Wong gave a presentation on the experience in internationalization of CUHK.

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Forum for Academic Exchange Heads is an annual activity, providing a platform for academic exchange administrators in Hong Kong, Guangdong and Macau to exchange views and enhance communication. CUHK served as the convener for the Forum in 2009 and 2010.
