CUguest Wi-Fi Service (SSID=CUguest) provides University guests with Wi-Fi internet access on a short term basis. Both free and charged services are available:

1. Free Service for Short-Term Official Guests Invited by Departments

• Each department is allocated with a free annual quota of 50 day-passes.
• Department can enjoy the service by appointing a staff to be the Wi-Fi Guest Account Coordinator, who will be responsible for creating/removing and managing the guest accounts online through the Wi-Fi Guest Account Application and Management System.

2. Charged Service for Event / Conference / Activity Participants organized by Departments

Departments can choose among the following Wi-Fi charged-account services depending on the event nature and number of participants:

a. Wi-Fi Charged-account service for Events/Activities (with multiple login IDs and passwords)

• Different login accounts and passwords will be provided
• The login domain will be "@guest.cuhk.edu.hk" (Visiting Guests) under CUguest Wi-Fi service (SSID=CUguest)
• Suitable for events or activities with a small number of participants
• Service request online at Wi-Fi Guest Account Application and Management System

b. Wi-Fi Charged-account service for Conferences (with a single login ID and password, and for departments only)

• A shared login account and password will be provided
• The login domain will be "@conference.cuhk.edu.hk" under CUguest Wi-Fi service (SSID=CUguest)
• Suitable for large-scale conference
