5. It's Time to Bid for Your Departmental Firewall

Attention please, all CUHK Departments.
To protect your departmental systems and data from the nowadays sophisticated attacks, it's the time to bid for an advanced firewall. Now, a new departmental firewall tender has come. Stay with us to find your solution here!

Q: What is the new tender about?
A: It is a general reference tender looking for some Next Generation Firewall (NGFW).

Q: Why should we choose Next Generation Firewall (NGFW)?
A: NGFW is capable to protect your systems and data against nowadays sophisticated attacks. It carries the traditional firewall features like Intrusion Protection System (IPS), anti-virus, anti-spam. Meanwhile, additional features like application control, web filtering, traffic control, user identification, IPv6 supported, central management are also included.

Q: When does the new tender stay effective?
A: From 20 February, 2014 to 19 February, 2016. Its validity is 24 months
