Visit of President of Jiangnan University to CUHK
A delegation from Jiangnan University, led by President Chen Jian, visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 18 August, during which they met with Prof. Fok Tai-fai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Ms Wing Wong, Director of Academic Links (China) to enhance communication and promote collaboration.
During the meeting, both sides shared updates about their respective developments, while discussing ways to expand scales of collaboration and exchange, including research, academic, staff and student exchange. The delegates were then led to the School of Life Sciences and met with Prof. Wong Kam-bo, School Director and Prof. Chen Zhenyu, Division Head of Research Postgraduate Programmes. They learnt about the recent developments of the School as well as its Food and Nutritional Sciences Programme, and toured around the campus. The visit facilitated the establishment of linkage and explored further collaboration opportunities between the two universities.

Delegation Led by Director of Finance Commission of Shenzhen Municipal Government
Mr. Tang Shukui, Director of Finance Commission of Shenzhen Municipal Government, led a 22-member delegation to visit the Chinese Universtiy of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 10 August. The delegates met with Prof. Isabella Poon, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of CUHK, and various administrative heads including Mr Fung Siu-man, Director of Campus Development; Mr Edmond Lam, Director of Estate Management; Mrs Karen Ng, Acting Bursar; and Ms Wing Wong, Director of Academic Links (China) for exchange. Both sides shared managerial experience of public finance and procurement during the meeting.
Prof. Poon introduced the University's latest developments to the delegation together with the unit heads who shared their work experience in respective units of campus development, estate management, public finance and academic links. After the meeting, the delegates were led to visit campus facilities such as student hostels, classrooms, libraries and laboratories to enhance their understanding about CUHK.
