The College Master, Professor Kenneth Young, started the Retreat by giving a general review of the major activities and events in the pastyear. He also presented the results of the End of Year Survey and highlighted some key observations. In the second half of the event, College affiliates and participating students were divided into two groups for a brainstorming and discussion session. Under the facilitation of Professor Thomas Au and Professor Cecilia Chun, members of the two groups started enthusiastic discussions, exchanged views and provided inputs for a set of questions related to student and College affairs. Each group was invited to present their suggestions and share insights at the end of this session.
Invaluable views and new ideas were collected at the Retreat, which are instrumental for the enhancement of current College activities and policies, the planning of new tasks such as the farewell to the first graduating class, and the development of the alumni association as well as electronic communication platforms for graduates of the College.
